I have a suspicion that he's one of those dads that's only interested in his son, not his daughter.
He nearly slipped when saying she wouldn't let him see his kids at 2:44 . She mentioned him talking on the phone with his son, not his kids.
Men like that (I could be wrong about him) tend to be have no respect for women and that could be why she is bitter.
Either way, she has no right to stop him from seeing his children.
