I won't complain because (from personal experience) I know it is so incredibly difficult to play, and your lyric playing is very good... but the middle section needs more fire - needs to be more punctuated and sharp - otherwise there isn't enough contrast and some of the beauty is lost. On the whole, nice playing though

Thank you very much!
You have a phantastic technik and a very warm feeling.

Absolutely beautiful playing. One of my favorite pieces. I can't figure out why more people haven't found your site yet. Anything live coming up in the future????

Wonderful performance!! Would love it if you sent me some of your other vids.

I loved this performance. It was so beautiful.

You make the piano sing; that's why maybe so many people in youtube call a piece "a song"; and i think it's not a problem. Very good! What other Liszt can you play?
@kst7511 thanks! Playing some competitions/auditions in summertime, a live improvisation show at the MOCA in Cleveland in July.

This is extremely well done. You are quite good at lingering at appropriate points, and your faster speeds never sound like they are rushing (a trap I have seen others fall into repeatedly while playing this piece). I hope to be able to achieve your tone one day when I play piano.

@mirasuu Really appreciate the kind words, I'm glad you can appreciate the details in the music. My playing has grown a lot since this video, but no camera these days. Thanks!!

Thank you! A few other Etudes, and his Ballade no. 2. Love this piece, want to play Chasse neige from the trans. etude set next year.
