  • Seriously, if anyone can think of more beautiful singing than the B flat diminuendo to a pianissamo on the last 'Tu Fai" (5:55) then they clearly know nothing about singing.

  • monserrat its a divine angel nobody sing like her

ABSOLUTA DIOSA !!!

  • Purists and detractors keep pointing out that Caballe lacked the highest notes, but what of it ? She was an amazing opera singer who sang so many roles with terrific success. She was an incredible Salome, Tosca, Aida, Isolde not to mention her masterful bel canto: Norma, Bolena, Stuarda, Deveraux, Lucrezia, Pirata, and her early Mozart: Elvira, Anna. What a Heaven-sent soprano she was. This Norma is one of the greatest in 20th century operatic history, equal to Callas

  • Sensacional!!! Qué voz !!! Qué Bomba!!

  • Sorry ! I gave a thumbs down when I meant a thumbs up as I could not agree more with your comment.

I have just one more comment to add....often what normally passes as good for me may be less pleasing if my mood has changed. To sum up your thoughts as I see them, in one word, "subjectivity"!

Apologies once more for the wrong thumb!!!

  • The BEST norma ever! ...history...
