In the past he won 10 races in the ChampCar sanctioned IndyLights series and won 5 Grand Prix wins with Player's Forsythe.
He said that he'll drive at Team Penske for two years and joined Ferrari in Formula One and he could have lived, nowadays he passed away.

He could have driven two years with Team Penske and then joined Ferrari in Formula One since Gilles Villeneuve back in the 80s

you dont have to be in formula 1 to be a legend, just look at AJ Foyt, Dale Earnhardt, Tom Kristensen and Dario Franchitti

It's 12 years today since Greg's accident, it doesn't matter how much time has passed - Greg will always be remembered. He was the best!! RIP Greg Moore.

@HelloShakedown I do not what the song is called, but I do have the same reaction with my eyes tearing up. I have Greg's book . I got it for Christmas last year. I was able to meet Dario Franchitti in January. I got him to sign Greg's book.

Brings tears to my eyes to see this again...Does anyone know what song that little piano ballad at the end of this video is from? I've heard it other times when people have died in pieces shown on espn. I just want to know if i can find the song itself somewhere....I would like to download it. Does anyone know?. So fitting. Moore was going to be great

ESPN made a tribute like this for Davey Allison too shortly after his death.

@ryanacehigh Wrong race, moron. Moore won THAT race.
-
He could of been killed by a hockey puck.
-
@lapleader The IRL abandoned the race at Charlotte after the tire flew and killed spectators. Under IRL rules, the race was abandoned after 79 laps. If it was under the FIA Code, the race would have a winner (starting the fourth lap makes a race official).

Honoured Greg yesterday. Did anyone else?
This comment has received too many negative votes show
So do the 3 fans who died from Greg's tyre get to have a tribute?

@ryanacehigh It wasn't Greg Moore's tire that flew into the stands at the 1998 US 500 at Michigan International Speedway. The tire came from Adrian Fernandez's car and Greg Moore was the winner of the race.
