  • My Mom's favorite movie. By the way, Elmer Bernstein also wrote the score for "To Kill a Mockingbird". When you have talent AND skill, you can do anything! Beautiful scene of NYC in winter.

  • I love this scene and you are right 130rcun, the music is perfect.

  • music is also great, good work by Elmer Bernstein

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! I absolutely LOVE this movie! One of the most charming & heartwarming films ever made. The teenaged leads, Merrie Spaeth & Tippy Walker (who is seen in this clip) made two of the most amazing screen debuts in the history of cinema. I too have always loved the snow winter scenes of New York City in this 1964 comedy/drama classic. Though even in the 60's, it was dangerous to go walking around Central Park after dark!! THANKS for posting this cool clip! :-)

  • @ffvsartoris

Very true! You have a good eye!

    :)

  • Yes, but this is Tippy Walker.... not Merrie

  • This is such a lovely scene from this film! Thank you for posting it.
