Here is a "sequel" to our landing at F22. We are now flying a much tighter formation ;). The flights take place in Stillwater and Perry, OK.

The plane is balanced with a DynaVibe, a pretty neat dynamic prop balancer! It is used on everything from Reno racers, certified and experimental aircraft, and helicopters, and you can read more about it here.... http://www.rpxtech.com/rpxweb/Dynavibe.asp

I made a lay-up of glass around (not over the top of) the tip. I then made a plywood (aviation grade) sleave to go over the glass and bonded the two together. The camera is mounted to the plywood. The assembly is taped on. It is NOT going anywhere!

  • Very nice. Did you just use a huge amount of duct tape? Or how did you end up mounting the camera to the winglet? I want to do something similar on my VariEZE
