So you're not only feeling badass tearing enemies into pieces, but you also get experience for doing this. I like that)
Maybe you could get rid of small combo meter and combine it with the big one. The bigger combo is, the larger and shinier the numbers become.

It would be awesome if you can find inner peace, and return projectiles^^

@BlueEagle669 how do you make you're games, what programs do you use.

I'd recognize that melody anywhere =)
Anyway, I think this is a great feature to add to your game because most sidescrollers don't really reward you for being fluent with your weapons, which makes this combo system a bit unique, so I think this is an excellent addition to the gameplay aspect of your project.

that idea is so good!
certanly will make fighting process more exciting and it Will motivate to do your best cutting down enemys` heads and limbs off uhahaha
and as hipp0cat suggested, make the menus simplier as much as possible, so that they wouldn`t distract attention during gameplay. that`s what I like in skyrim - there are no unnesesary bars, menu constructions, wrightings on the screen, they appear only when they are needed

Good idea.
I would like it to be a bit more real-time with the combo showing as you are fighting and not just in the end of it.

@LazarheaD The real-time damage is shown on the bottom left while you fight. I wasn't sure how apparent I want this feature to be. Maybe some people don't care about how high the damage can go and those numbers would distract them, so I made the small numbers while in combat and the big one when you see the result.
