  • @dirtdarte It's funny, however they may try to distort the evil that came straight from the "prophet", within the distortion Young is condemned by his own statement, "the immigrants were not to be touched". That means he knew there was a plan in place to murder these people. The reply of "Too late" further implicates Young as the mastermind responsible behind this vile massacre. Eyring sites local leadership as responsible parties, but in Mormonism, local leaders are merely extensions of Young.

  • Eyring... mr, waterworks... is simply a propagandist. The leadership of the Mormon Church are responsible for what happened. These guys are masters of cover-up and will never admit direct responsibility. One note; Eyring ALWAYS crys when he gives a speech. I have never seen him give a speech without waterworks. These gusy (the Mormon leadership) know the truth. It just isn't a good business decision to take responsibility of EVERYTHING that happened here. They have to keep the truth hidden.

  • greenlightpagan In May 1861, Brigham Young visited the site of the massacre. His actions on this trip demonstrated that he approved of the massacre...

"We visited the Mountain Meadow Monument put up at the burial place of 120 persons... A wooden Cross was placed on top with the following words: Vengence is mine and I will repay saith the Lord. President Young said it should be Vengence is mine and I have taken a little." (Wilford Woodruff's Journal, May 25, 1861, vol. 5, p. 577)

  • If you really want to honor the dead Elder Eyring. Stop with the meaningless public display and let the rightful decendents claim their dead and their personal effects. This is exactly what the victims would have wanted.

We can stop this autrocity by writing to: Marlin Jensen

  • read my first post from several weeks ago at the top of this chain.... did I make any claims as to where you live... ever? NO. I only stated a fact that Rocky isn't invited out any more because people can't stand him. I'm sorry you can't handle the truth.

And you're telling me to update my info on you? I already know all about you both. You know nothing of me and you assume too much.

  • Nothing to update? Okay, then you are just nuts...facts with wrong data again. You don't know where live nor how long thus you made a dumb statement about us,

  • There's nothing to update.... I've lived in Nauvoo longer than you...

  • News Flash for you... You forget that I've lived in Nauvoo longer than you have... I know what you do. This town isn't that big.

  • factsanddata...update your info you've become out dated!
