@yousound This will be my only post to address the ignorant rantings of those who came here just to spout blather about something they have no concept of. Country life is more than just a lifestyle choice, it's about heritage and family! One is either born into it or gravitated towards it because it resonated with them. As for the myopic comment, country folks are not myopic they are accepting and loving people. Your comment about "ghetto dwellers" is pretty bigoted all by itself, post elsewhere
@VonKaNon No, I'm not against the country life but a lot of country people are myopic to their detriment. To me they're no better than the ghetto dwellers that won't better themselves because of peer pressure. Why would this group of people have to stick up for themselves? Are they that insecure about themselves?
@YouSoundButtHurt You sound like someone who has an utter disliking towards people that enjoy the country life. I've worked in branding for over 15 years and I think this brand can be successful for one simple reason – it targets a market that "sticks up for it's own" if you know what I mean. They mentioned NASCAR Fans and Country Music Fans – two demographics that intermingle and are both very open and honest about their country way of life and will show it off however and whenever they can.
You're lucky you got the deal from the sharks... I don't see this brand having any legs outside county fairs or mall kiosks. Zero brand recognition and most people consider hillbillies and rednecks to be buffoons. Sure they work hard (some of them) and love life but so what... lots of people do. There's nothing glamorous about being an ignorant hick. The models you use are pretty spicy though...
