I remember this song the first time i ever got drunk. it was on the duke box in the Condobolin Hotel. I was 16 or 17 at the time.

Reminds me a bit of 'King Missile' of the late 80's early 90's. Must have been listening to bands like this back in the day... maybe not Mother Goose but hey

Still as funny as it was in '77 particularly growing up in Tauranga......I think they played at the Mount one time.

Saw them at a little pub in NZ and was stunned at how good they were - funny, clever, talented! Heard their version of (Rolling Stones)" Paint it Black" and it is still my favourite.
