@excathead I don't care who he is, he can't play worth sh*t!

Where is the jug???

I love how Beatle Bob disappears after! He's like some kind of rare animal that you have to quickly spot, or something.

Such a great band, and they perform on such a small stage.
-
he did really well for someone that almost didnt make here at all

I'm sorry, i know that Roky's had his problems or whatever but this performance sucks. Carries none of the original energy of the 13th floor elevators. So sad.
-
He looks like a cross between Squiggy and Glenn Danzig

I'm not exactly sure, but I would guess it would be that second song that goes "I walked with a zombie" over and over in the chorus?
Just puttin' it out there...

That harmonica player is Powell St. John, who basically started the entire Texas psychedelic music scene back in the early sixties, and who wrote 6 songs for the 13th Floor Elevators. Powell is a member of the Texas Music Hall of Fame and is about as far from being a redneck or a drunk as one can imagine. He performed at Roky's invitation, and to quote Roky himself: " I think he is a first-rate harmonica player...His songs are some of my favorites!"
