  • can you change one of these to print circuit boards?

  • @Incrue I don't think the z axis would be consistent enough.

  • That is an excellent color of PLA, Might I ask where you purchased it? Is it MakerGear or Ultimachine?

  • @Karred2 I got the natural and green PLA from Ultimachine. I really like their products. Fast, smart, good quality.

  • what, did you print all the parts first, and then assemble? It looks like you printed a few parts and started assembly at high speed, and added parts as they were printed, except there's no printing going on with Darwin during your assembly.

  • @Petawatt you caught me. Ha. Yes, I printed all the parts first, then assembled. I guess I took a little too much artistic liberty on the cutting floor.

  • ardrino?

    good video though

  • you using a Canon HF10 Camcorder? I ask because I have that same remote.

  • Search for your printer service manual here: refillbros com manuals

  • "we used this to print a replacment"...

    A-M A Z I N G!!!

  • i love the way your drink goes down

  • @Incrue I would think that the easiest way to print circuit boards would be to tape a board down to the build platform then put a sharpie marker in place of the extruder and have the thing draw the desired lines on the board. Then simply remove the board and etch it using (my favorite) hydrogen peroxide and hydrochloric acid, both of which are dirt cheap and available at drug stores and hardware stores. For bonus points, mount a dremel tool in the extruder location to drill the holes.

  • I'm a total newbie to all of this but is there a way to have the printer construct multiple objects on the same construction platform? I was thinking also you could have some sort of conveyor or sweeper arm to move finished objects off the platform and have other project queued and ready to go.

  • OMG, How long does it take to build enough of these to fill your yard, house and uncle's warehouse? I'm 12 and from England, but I'm damn smart. Could you help me build one? I subscribed. Are there any parts you could donate, I'll MP you my address.

  • Incredible,mind-blowing,amazing etc etc etc. But what are the implications of this on the economy 10-20 years down the line. The creative professions:designer, actor, artist, architect, inventor, will be the only ones still viable for humans to do. How will this effect society?

  • outstanding.
