  • Bruce Lee was good but he didn't invent footwork.

  • haizzz, being a fan of Bruce, i'm fed up with people bringing him up anytime and anywhere and talk shit about him. Why dont you just discuss and pay respect to the 2 real talented fighters here ? This has nothing to do with Bruce, the ring is not for him !!

  • @l05son YES!! I read an article that an old friend of Bruce did where he says during Bruce's days in seattle he was challenged numerous times by Karate men.I wish there was more info from those days from people who were their.

  • @clearcombat Tournaments are great, and MMA any sport with rules makes it tough you can only do this, and that, street fighting is great it has no rules and will hone ones skills to their finest as whatever you have and can use to get the job done.Bruce fought on rooftops and yes at first he was not that good this is a true statement, but once he started with Yip he was hooked,Bruce was a bound and determined guy,no matter what he started he would have been good at just in his wiring.

  • @mannybrucesalvador During Bruce's time in Seattle the practice and some schools, kwoons,do this today but not like the ole days, was to send their best student to fight as if he won the sifu, instructor would say see my style and form of techniques is the best,if the student lost he could say he was a bad student and not very good, thus the teacher doesn't lose his reputation if he actually lost.Bruce at the time was the only Sifu who said "here I am" with everything to lose thus he didn't lose.

  • @Lith333 This is a semi-correct statement as Bruce Lee when going to the Way of JKD incorporated fencing, western boxing, and non-static approach to movement. If you look at the really early competition videos you can understand how his footwork changed the very core of movement as Mike Stone-Chuck Norris-Joe Lewis all changed their movement techniques all from training with Bruce Lee thus everyone else in competition had to adapt or lose, "BE WATER MY FRIEND"

  • @nhienphan2808 actually it has alot to do with Bruce Lee as Joe Lewis trained with Li Xiao-Long and did so for speed and technique training, this partnership went for 4 years and Joe Lewis admits to being a better fighter due to Bruce. You must respect Mr. Lewis for his respect to Bruce Lee.

  • Btw, the guy in white shirt is Bill Wallace becoz he never used his right leg.

We better call him left-foot Wallace instead of super-foot .

  • @mannybrucesalvador

    Agree!!

  • There's alot of Joe Lewis

  • @TheSrx1 what real masters do.When their is a legitimate challenge they step up and thats what BRUCE did.He fought REAL FIGHTS with NO REFERREE,NO RULES and for NO WEAK TITLES or TROPHY.Their is a documentary on YOUTUBE called BRUCE LEE THE INTERCEPTING FIST watch it their is testimony from one of the actors from THE BIG BOSS who was present when a THAI BOXER challenged BRUCE on the set of the movie.BRUCE accepted and KICKED THAT ASS!! BRUCE LEE WAS MARTIAL ARTS ALI. SIMPLY THE GREATEST!!
