  • I'm addicted to Ruination right now!!! I hope to pull the trigger on a growler fill of 2012 Old Gaurdian on Monday. Gonna be tough to pass on my beloved Ruiation though!

  • @cschlish Nice! Runiation is a great brew for sure. Cheers!

  • Great reviews, Peter. Do you know much about the problems Stone was having with haziness on their IPAs last year? Yours looked decent, but I just did a video review where I blind tasted a fresh ruination against one that was 2 weeks past due date. Was fun. The 2 weeks past was VERY hazy, and the fresh one was incredibly clear, among other differences. Cheers!

  • @skepticbeerreview Glad you like them. Well the haze is not a problem in my opinion, if a lager drinker is drinking the beer I would understand why, because the person is used to beers being clear. Usually hazy beers are bottle conditioned making the beer evolve over time, and I love that hazy look! Cheers!

  • @TheMasterOfHoppets also extremely hopped beers have whats called hop haze not a problem in my book either peter

  • @jamesdizzle420 Yup I know what hop haze is, and I think it looks lovely :-D Cheers!

  • @TheMasterOfHoppets - I don't have a problem with the haziness... just curious to know if it was part of it being past it's date (they've said they haze a bit with age), or if it was part of what they were trying to "correct" about their 2011 IPAs. It could look like river water and I wouldn't mind; the stuff is amazing!

  • @peskyjay7 Never heard of it nor seen their beers around unfortunately. Cheers!

  • or their hoperation which is also good, Phillips just makes good beers.

  • Have you ever had from phillips brewing company ? its a local company from here in vancouver. They have a pretty good double IPA called amnesiac
