Listen I got a XB1200 Lightning. I really dont care that other bikes might be faster. I bought my bike because I like how Buell is different, and made in America. I wont knock what anyone else likes or ride. But I like riding my bike because I'll see a handful all summer long. And the people that ride them arent arrogant assholes. I can see 50 GSXRs, Busa's, and Yamahas a day. I didnt want what everyone else has. My bike sounds like a man bike, not a boy's toy. Love it

@TheCroman07 yeah but that engine didnt have years of R&D behind it like the japs do, its a 2 cyl. and it doesnt redline like the 4's. So thats alot of the problem. look at the ducati equivalent in that time period it was making about +20 MORE rwhp than the Buell. that just goes to show how much the 4 cyl is more efficient in that area- high hp from higher revs.

Drag racing is for pussies who can't ride a bike but can only hang on. Buy a bike because you like it, not just for power, looks, or where it's made. If you like it buy it. Before Buell was out of business I guarantee some of their parts were imported just like HD. There is no such thing as a %100 genuine made in a country vehicle.

Wait a second didn't the rotax based buells race against 600's in the AMA pro circuit oh yeah they did twice the cc's and they only won a championship one year right before Harley canned them because it wasn't their motor and only one rider could lug that thing around the track and actually win and what ducati races with liter bikes and actually wins that's not possible they only have 1000 cc's not 1200 like you harley boys whoops sounds like a desmo is better so a overhead cam motor is better
