Parelli student Elena Violet lives in the South of Spain, where she says that the general attitude toward horses is not very positive, but rather master-oriented. In August, ParelliTube featured Elena Violet and her gelding Sopla in their amazing video showing their bond of companionship. Earlier this year, Elena had adopted Sopla, a 10-year-old Portuguese cross. He had been traumatized so severely in his past, that he wouldn't allow humans near him without rearing or gnashing his teeth. And then he met Elena, who used her Parelli Natural Horsemanship skills with him and slowly won his trust and his heart.
Enjoy their second feature video on ParelliTube and see their remarkable bond for yourself. Not only do they play the Parelli Seven Games together in the arena, but they capture the viewers' hearts with their graceful "dance-like" performance.

Hm. My pony (shetland stallion) doesn't want to follow me when he's without halter. He walks behind me when I tell me to do so, but only when he wears the halter with the long rope.
Are there horses who just don't want to follow anyone or is our relationship just not good enough ..?
