This presenter should stick to kiddie TV. Stop with the fake laughs matey to get down Cowell's pants. Piers needs to lighten up. Take off the suite mae and wear a t shirt or something for once in your life. The guy is such a Brit. I bet he even sleeps in his suite because he thinks it makes him look so good. People that like piers, watch the American celebrity Apprentice and you will change your opinion. The guy is a pompous prick with no principles. He is a back stabber.

@104Kojack he's rude when he knows he can be, i.e. AGT and BGT. but on Piers Tonight he's always more than polite to celebs, and he's actually shown more humility on his show, especially when attacked, than a lot of other people i've seen. (watch his Nancy Grace segment)
people need to realize, piers and simon are a PRODUCT OF MASS MEDIA. they know how to play to a crowd.

piers isn't rude. he's just very frank and upfront, and perhaps tactless, whereas simon has a certain charm to his snide.
but piers has more less perfected the character of "the person everyone loves to hate", even more so than simon, which makes him interesting nonetheless.
