  • Kim dae-Jung, you were a hero to your people. You fought to free your country of a brutal regime, you spent years in prison for standing up for the South Korean people, you tried to make peace with the North, and promoted Human Rights. Your passing is a national tragedy.

    Rest in Peace.

  • Kim Duh! Choong,

You are a traitor to South Korea.

You instigated the Kwangju Rebellion, which was infiltrated and then co-opted by the Commies dispatched by Kim Jong iL.

You funneled hundreds of millions of dollars to Kim Jong iL, and financed the development of N Korea's Bomb.

Youn embraced Kim Jong iL, the most blood-thirsty, brutal dictator on the face of the earth.

Your passing gas for five years in office was comical.

You could have achieved so much more had you died 30 yrs sooner.

  • Kim Duh! Choong was an utterly incompetent, corrupt and hypocritical politician. He opposed every major economic policy initiative of the Park Jung Hee. Kim Duh! opposed construction of Korea's first national highway, its first steel mill and shipbuilding industry. If Kim Duh! had his way, today Korea would still have largely an agrarian economy and Korea would be buried in piles of shit, literally, as human manure covers Korea's agricultural fields for lack of chemical fertizers.

  • I spit on Kim Dae Jung's face.

  • Three Asian leaders died in 2009... Cory Aquino, Roh-moo Hyun, and Kim dae-Jung. It's extremely sad for many people across the Philippines and South Korea.

  • Yeah because lee myungbak showed up. At least we re Able to communicate with north Korea now

  • he tried to help the democracy of korea and the reunification of korea, but sadly it utterly failed

  • Just asking, but why were they clapping at 0:31.

  • It's a very common Korean last name.
