3-Season Room with Grilling Deck and Staircase - West Des Moines

In this project, we converted (with structural enhancements) the existing deck space to a 3-Season Room, expanded the deck to allow a convenient, upper-level grilling area and re-routed the staircase to open up the patio below.

The 3-Season room is fully-insulated and finished, with a gable (but collared) ceiling, Jeld-Wen windows and doors and a baseboard heat system. We also installed a new French Door as the access point to/thru the house, replacing the existing slider door.

The grilling deck and staricase uses TimberTech's Twin Finish wood-plastic composite decking with TimberTech's Ornamental Railing system, both in the Redwood color.

These additions greatly enhanced this West Des Moines' family enjoyment of their home by maximizing the use of their available spaces, both for living and for cooking.
