New doujin game that was released recently. Roughly 2 days ago (same day as the BlazBlue console release in North America x_X). Shows some relatively easy combos for Saki followed by a few 100% stun combos. The stun combos use almost identical inputs as the ones found in the loop that sibladeko discovered. The variations are there to show just how early or late you can stun some characters. All of these combos are valid because the combo counter never turns red. And speaking of the combo counter, it's kinda strange. The number of hits shows up above your opponent in relation to where they are on the screen. So it more or less follows them around.
So what do I think about the game? Well, for one, it's DAMN GORGEOUS for a doujin game. I honestly can't say I've seen a doujin game with higher quality spritework and animation. Keep in mind that this is all the work of ONE guy and he was nice enough to distribute it for free on his blog (http://suge9.blog58.fc2.com ) after putting in roughly 3.5 years of work. All we really know about him is that he is an ex-Capcom employee. Pretty impressive and generous at the same time.
How does it play? Well I must say, first and foremost, it doesn't play like a typical doujin fighter. There's no air dashes, no double jumps, no chain/gatling combos (aka dial-a-combo) except for the few characters that have them but those are more like target combos from Third Strike because they aren't as free-form. Hell, there's not even the basic 2-in-1 which is the most FUNDAMENTAL method of performing combos in 2D fighting games. So it's a really big change of pace as far as doujin games are concerned. I am somewhat discouraged that dial-a-combo isn't around since big combos are what I typically like in a fighting game but oh well. There are links however, but they're not too difficult in all honesty.
The game is pretty interesting though. It uses an assist subsystem in which your secondary character follows your character around and attacks accordingly. Using your assist is REQUIRED to do any reasonable damage, let alone keep your pressure running. There is dizzying but it usually happens during long combos that use up a lot of the assist meter (as you can see). There's a lot for the players left to discover considering how new the game is. From what I have played and seen from other players, the entire cast is pretty unique for the most part. Watching match videos and actually playing against the CPU, I feel VERY lost. lol I won't understand the flow of the game until I play against a friend (hopefully soon). You can find match videos on serikamo's page here on youtube, but even then, actually playing the game is so much different.
The stun combos shown here will probably be really tough to land in actual vs play considering that they use a lot of assist meter (which you will be using A LOT) and start off a slow jump-in. Jump-ins are very floaty. I'm guessing assists will be used to create openings to close in on the opponent. Time will tell.
Overall, if you like doujin games or just wanna try something new, give this one a shot. It's a really small download and no installation needed. Have fun.
My comments about the combos:
#1: This combo is most definitely BnB material since it requires no super or assist. You can replace any 214A with a super if you have the meter though.
#2: A pretty standard combo off 2C with lvl2 assist. You don't need to cross them up for the combo to work. I just happened to cross them up while recording. lol If you don't feel like doing the links after the assist, just run up and 623C for some decent damage.
#3: You don't need the 22B for this combo to work but I threw it in for the sake of variety. And considering how much action can be happening on the screen, you may just hit with one of these. This combo looks fairly screen dependent but look at the damage. 50% for no super and a lvl2 assist? Pretty sick.
#4: This combo looks kinda gimmicky, but if you're that close and you use the 6D assist while poking with 5B, 6B, or 5C, you can land her BnB no problem and get some good damage from it if you have a super.
#5: After every sword swing, petals will materialize. Like Yui, Saki has the ability to transform these petals into horizontal projectiles. I used a lot of them, but it's not really necessary. The importance of this move, is that after every BnB, you have at least 2 petals on the screen. And since the opponent was knocked down, you can activate these projectiles and close the distance between you and the opponent by dashing in. These seem to be pretty good oki tools that can bait reversals or simply allow you to maintain initiative.
#6: Lilith has A LOT of health. I was originally going to use combo #7 against her but it didn't kill her when I got to the post-stun DP portion of the combo.
#7: This one requires NO super meter. LOL
#8: ROFL @ the damage on this one. This combo is simply OVERKILL.
Is it a clean game? Any Ecchi or hentai? lol.

I must ask how you pick stages in training and versus mode for that matter.

Yeah it's kinda weird to select stages in this game. In go to Option > Game> then go to the drop down menu at the top.
