I have a couple of questions since your a bird owner. We got my cockatiel about 3 months ago and before i got him i think the breeder trimmed his wings, and i thaught they would be back by now so how long does it usually take for them to grow there wings back. Also how do u teach your birds to fly to you like that?

Generally speaking your cockatiel should molt once or twice a year. How old is your baby? The time you see new wing feathers will depend on the age and how soon after the wing feathers came in were they clipped. If the baby is only 6 months old and the feathers were clipped at 3 months then you should start seeing them any time between now and the next few months. When you start seeing the first signs of molting (losing feathers), the flights should come in shortly after!!

Getting them to fly to me is easy, I am just more fun than anything else in the room! LOL. Seriously, when they form a bond to you they will fly to you out of love. No training needed! We have never trained any of our birds to do tricks, talk etc. They just do what they do "naturally"!! Of note: They read your mood better than you might think, so make you are enjoying the moment and are not stressed when they are out and you should be fine!
