Springfield, MO named one of the worst places for families

According to Best Life magazine, Springfield, MO (my hometown) was #10 on their list of the worst places to raise a family. Here is the story from KYTV.

Everything here has racist undertones, people wont come out and openly admit it but when there is someone to blame people are quick to choose sides. All people do here is drink and eat themselves to death, while watching movies. This town is for squares, only people that enjoy this place never come out of their homes until the weekend. Hence the gang myths we all hear, and lets not even got started on the north and south springfield wars. If you dont live in south springfield you arent shit

Don't skip the Art Walk. Don't miss the pub crawls. Don't miss exhibits or orchestras at the Spfld museum or Juanity K. if that is your cup of tea. Take a road trip to Columbia & hit the Blue Note (which is not just blues). Get in on a 5K or 10K.

Go hike or bike at Busick, Ha Ha Tonka, Bennett Springs, Nathaniel Greene. See shows at Gilloz, Juanita K, Tent.

I loved the art walk this past Saturday and my kids also love it here and I do plan on taking them again if it's warm enough next weekend. I find that this is one of the best places to raise a family!! I don't think this magazine was here long enough to enjoy what we do have to offer here in Springfield.
