1/3 of the way through this cycle, and so far so good. Here's the rundown of last week:

Last Weight - 263.8
Day 10 - 263.2 -0.6
Day 11 - 262.4 -0.8
Day 12 - 261.2 -1.2
Day 13 - 260.0 -1.2
Day 14 - 259.2 -0.8
Day 15 - 259.0 -0.2
Day 16 - 257.4 -1.6

So, I have a total loss of 6.4 pounds for the week. Better than nothing! This next week will be a telling week, with switching to a fresh batch of HCG mid-week. If I see an up-swing in weight loss, I'll probably increase my dosage to offset any degradation of the HCG over time. It will be an interesting experiment. I'm hoping to get to 233 pounds or so by the end of this cycle, which will put me at the lowest weight I've been in 8 years. That will be a great accomplishment, and I can only guess what I will get to when I start the 3rd Cycle in August.

Well, that's all for now. Thanks for watching, and have a great week!

  • Excellent job and I love your attitude of not stressing about the ups and downs of the protocol. I'm a 39 year old male on R2 P4 and will say that I lost a little slower in R2 and, like you, was really looking forward to eating more food again... but I stuck with it and lost 25 lbs in R2 and am only 20 lbs from my ultimate goal. One more round and I should be there. I always look forward to your videos.

  • I'm "hoping" to lose about 18-20 pounds in the remaining 23 days on the diet, but will probably only drop 14-16 (we'll see). I'll still have about 50 pounds to go after that, so I'm already planning on 2 more cycles - one 6 weeks after this, and then a long break, and starting the 4th cycle on New Years Day - a GREAT day to load up! With any luck, by middle of Feb (almost 1 year since I started this) I'll be 120 - 130+ pounds lighter.

  • Hey man your doing really good!!

Maybe I'm just getting sick but i was wondering if you ever had bad stomach aches while on VLCD.

I'm going to do an update on how i'm feeling, so if you have any tips i would really appreciate it.

    Thanks, Cory

  • I'm really sorry to hear you're having stomach aches. It might be due to your stomach having less food and doing some shrinking, unless it's a LOT of pain. Is it associated with any hunger pangs? You 2 are doing SO well on the diet - I really enjoy hearing your successes! Keep it up!
