Isn't this kind of software mainly compensating for the room you mix in and when you take the mix to another room it's back to square one, but offset by the amount of "correction" applied by the program? To take the anomalities out of the room you mix in you need acoustic treatment like bass traps, diffusors etc. to get rid of standing waves and resonances.

@aNdYmAtTeR No, just the opposite. After this is set up correctly, you won't be overcompensating for the things it corrects, thus your mixes will be more universally consistent. Of course we're not arguing against treatment - some treatment in tandem with ARC is a very good idea too.

@ikmultimedia Yeah, I know. ARC and T-RackS 3 Deluxe is about the only products from IK I don't have yet. I need Amplitube Fender and to upgrade A2 to A3 but the rest I have, since you insist on giving it away almost for free all the time hahaha!

I don't have Riffworks and the iPhone stuff and I guess it's not something I need since I have Cubase 5.5.

I got the Extravaganza Sampleblah blah whatever this summer and it's just insane!!!

If you don`t buy ARC just through away your speaker and studio.

Buy this plug. Its the best money you will ever spend. The fundamental resourse of any recording/mastering facility is an accurate listening environment period. Dont waste money on better preamps and mics until you get this app and correct your listening space. You will not regret it. Ive had this app since it frist came out and all the nay sayers were critizing this. It makes a huge difference in everything.
