@dambtheman1 light years ahead of their time. As awesome as it sounds, then and now. It just was not what was selling at the time.

So damn awesome.

@dambtheman1 Boston was too far ahead of the curve. Look at Mission of Burma. Happy to say the first non-arena show I ever saw was the Neighborhoods in the early 80's.

Why is my internet running so fucking slow? I'm about to shove my fist up someone's dickhole.

I can only say that after seeing the 'Hoods more than 200 times that somehow I still do feel as if they were mishandled, redirected...something, I dunno. The '79 Rumble at The Rat cassette, in my opinion, is one of the greatest live rock sets of all time. I'm old and I've heard a bunch. As Oedipus said in his intro for the rumble, "they put the hood back in rock and roll, The Neighborhoods!"

David Minehan, Paul Westerberg, Jack Lee... Lot's of guys should be recognize as part of the best.

Dave is a man who loves the music. Just like he did with Westerber!
