I just bought the Homo Sapiens model with the 1.3 palladium stub nib.... I can't say that it "write like a dream" The sweet spot is very very small, and even when you hit it you have to use a moderate amount of pressure to keep the line from breaking.

@SparqFision Sounds like your nib needs tuning. Yes, it should work well out of the box, but some of these nibs need tuning. If you need a reference, let me know. If you are in the US, the work cost will be taken care of. Contact me back channel to get more info.
Cheers!

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I like stubs and the _idea_ of the smoothness of palladium nibs -- in theory, mind you. If I buy, say, an HS, I want it to write like a freakin' dream on almost any paper.

@kanajlo
They do, I have about 30 pens, 26 or so of them with stubs, all different companies, makes. Some stock, some modified and they all would sound like this when video taping.

@chatterleypens
Thanks for the clarification. As long as they "write like a dream," as advertised, I may buy one. (I wish Oscar Braun carried Visconti.)
