Statler and Waldorf doing what they do best. The first one is from the Muppets Take Manhattan and the last 2 are from The Great Muppet Caper.

They're best taken in small doses. The awesome would be overwhelming in movie form.

One I remember is in the Christmas Past segment, they heckle Fozzie during his speech he gives at his Christmas party, the exchange goes something like:

Fozzie: At this annual Christmas party, it's a tradition for me to give a little speech.

Statler/ Waldorf (I forget which of them said it): And it's a tradition for us to take a little nap! DOH HO HO HO HO!

They joked about Fozzy's speech during the Christmas party, and they tease Scrooge a little bit before singing "We're Marley and Marley."

They actually had a proper role in that one, they were the Marleys, Jacob and Robert, Scrooge's business partners. It's been a while since I saw it last, but I remember they did have jokes. Just can't remember what they were!

Unless they were a Rifftrax style troll commentary. They might actually make Jack and Jill watchable

"It took them thirty-six hours to shoot this big musical number."

    "Oh yeah, why's that?"

"The cameraman kept trying to escape!"
