San Francisco Police Chief George Gascon held a press conference to discuss recent raids on illegal marijuana grow houses. The first question was about stopping grow house fires through legalization, and the chief talked about how when we ended alcohol prohibition, a lot of the violence and crime went away. That's why many cops are members of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, which any citizen can join for free at http://www.CopsSayLegalizeDrugs.com

  • @bigjohnson9687 its the west coast! move to seattle, our police chief is in LEAP

  • If it were made legal for people to grow their own...have a city inspector come and make sure all your electrical, and water connections are done up to code, and that there is some kind of fire prevention handy be it a hand held or one of the mounted sprinkler types...give the person some kind of ok from the city and let em grow....what would be the harm in that....? really ?

  • Amazing that this is still an issue. Some are finally admitting the dangers that prohibition causes. This plant is proving to be the most beneficial plant on the face of the earth and when it is available to all and everyone is educated on it's benefits and different uses many lives will be enhanced and countless deaths from diseases will greatly decrease. Let's legallize it and stop the lying, money grubbing greedy, non caring Corporations from destroying lives.

  • This guy makes a lot of sense.

  • obviously if it were legal it would be safer. Just like the illegal making of alcohol led to some individuals going blind. These few house fires would surely be reduced when a person even growing in their home could call a qualified electrician or have questions answered by experts, etc. Which he cannot do now since it is illegal. If someone is not experienced with electricity, doesn't have ppl he trusts to ask & chooses to grow @ home. Prohibition forces into gr8er risk of fire & electrocution

  • legalize it already. shit.

  • San Francisco/Yay Area/"Cencal" wut-WUT!!!! that's right, people, WE know what's up!
