I remember watching this trailer and thinking "man...Nolan's gonna put Batman through some pain". That's what I like about the Batman movies...you genuinely feel for the character because of the good writing. Marvelous work by Nolan.

1:04 and 1:07. "He must.. *blurred vision of Bane*.. he must *fucking Bane!*"

Just look at this Bane, staring at you from the dark.Scary not solely because of his physique(you haven't even seen it yet!)but because of the mystery about him. That's what I wanted him to be like- superstrong,mysterious,appeari­ng out of the shadows.Tom Hardy is an amazing actor, and Nolan is a wonderful director. But he shouldn't have lied to us through this trailer. Bane seems more like a politician in the movie :S

When this trailer first came out, I unsuccessfully tried to explain to my girlfriend the enormity behind 1:22. I kept replaying it over and over, and she didn't get the reason why I was so enamored by a few seconds...

I told her, "Look, at 1:22, Batman is BACKING up from an opponent, gasping for air while he does so. The Batman does not RETREAT from an opponent, gasping for air...YOU retreat from the BATMAN, clutching your ribs from the punishment The Dark Knight dishes out."

in a way, you are actually write, the tone of the movie was slightly different than I would have imagined from this teaser. The last scene of this trailer really did it for me, made me imagine all sorts of things about the film lol

Yeah,1:22 too.Batman backing away from Bane, tired and kinda scared.Perhaps you shouldn't expect too much from a movie like I did.Not saying what I saw wasn't good, it was just SO different from this trailer :/

Dude you and me both. I remember the first time I saw this when I saw the title, I said,"I can't fucking wait!" Then I saw Bane walking towards Batman and my jaw dropped.
