Recycled Christmas Card Star Ornaments

A simple and easy craft to do with recycled Christmas cards!! All you need is 2 Christmas cards, scissors, glue and 15 minutes. Couldn't be easier!! You can also use cardstock, scrapbooking paper, magazine or book pages, junkmail, etc.

And sorry for the 'chirping' in this video. It's my camera adjusting the white balance and focus. It's gotten bad, especially in this video, and I will be using a new camera in future videos. :-)

I hate throwing away Christmas cards because of the sentiment attached to them and  because many of them are so pretty. Thanks for another idea of what to do with them.

I've subbed via Beth @ Cooking and Crafting.....these are spectacularly nice and I am so glad I have some Christmas cards sitting in a bag from last year that were going to the recycling. I may have to leave this project until after Christmas but it is a super idea. Thanks so much :)

Love the stars!!! I didn't notice the chirping or bo bo finger!! Guess I need to go to bed!! I saw the most awesome scrapbook paper @ Mixhaels that is solid gold glitter that would make wonderful stars but at $2. a sheet I'll wait til after Christmas and hope it goes to 75% off. Or make my own. Til then I will make them out of old cards I've stockpiled. Thanks for de-mystifying the process!!
