A small novelty toy consisting of a spherical concave mirror and a red ball that hands as a pendulum. The ball hangs at the center of the sphere (center of curvature). As the ball is set into vibrating about the center of curvature, the image of the ball changes periodically from a magnified to a reduced in size image. More information about the physics of images formed by concave mirrors can be found at The Physics Classroom Tutorial - http://www.physicsclassroom.com/Class/refln/.
