BACKGROUND-Take only what you need from it:
This tribute is not a clip trying to combat the unofficial jsalmon MGMT Kids Video, but complement & compliment it. We could never better his vid. Most of all, it celebrates one of the greatest pop songs of all time. If permission is granted from MGMT duo Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, MGMT management will hopefully pass us some authentic footage of the boys to be edited into this if it becomes popular. You might also have ideas or want to share content? The brilliant "Kids" is written, arranged and performed by Andrew and Ben, who are MGMT. The not so brilliant vid was helped along with the N96 & all original clips supposed to be a spontaneous compliment to the jsalmon clip. Thanks to "surf girl" for letting me capture her and all the Malaysian Chinese New Year Dancers and my limbo lady mate in Barbados. Also, thanks for those cool cyclists letting me shoot them 'at work' and the cool 'fab' car grab I managed to get in Byron Bay. Most of all thanks to Martin & Liz for fronting Bracket Boys and standing in for MGMT. Hope to have new footage soon! (Not forgetting the Penguins, who have always been brilliant poseurs. We have it on good authority that they love MGMT too:-)

I've been in Byron Bay since my birthday Sept 4, a beautiful NSW North Coast paradise, named after Lord Byron. I'm here trying to recover from losing about 26 video's worth of content and rebuilding storylines. A lot of the lost stuff was raising funds. Julian Cole Samboy Bushfire Appeal was only made to raise a YouTube channel profile, (previously with only a few hundred views). Running the communitychannel auto opening highlight box, guaranteed 60,000 instant views. Adspacepioneers and community-channel exploitation of bushfire victims and competition entries should never have been allowed by Samboy chips. Julian Cole, Samboy chips and communitychannel should publish this comment if they have nothing to hide?

The controversy around whether Julian Coles Adspace Pioneers Samboy Snackbrands promo, (or juanmanns bushfire vid) has the appeal at heart and not video views is why I never made a vid! However, Red Cross funds need to be sustained and Im certainly thinking of making a special video to achieve that some day. It might be in a few weeks, a few months or even years! (I will try to post this on the Samboy Snackbrands Adspace Pioneers Vid).

Talking about your bushfire appeal, I think it's abhorrent that there have been promotions exploiting loss, like Julian Cole's Adspace Pioneers for, of all things, a Samboy Snackbrands promotion!

I sent emails again on Samboy Chips Julian Cole adspacepioneers communitychannel scam and a rep from the chrisMsimon channel asked Natalie Tran about all her previous comments, (at the ATP, during awards being given for AIMIA). She denied all knowledge of any comments and Julian Cole is just 'walking away' from the issue!!!!
