Operation Ivy (1953) (part 2 of 3)
This is part 2 of an old Civil Defense film that recalls the first Hydrogen Bomb test in late 1952. When I posted this film last year, it had some missing parts, but this new part two has the missing pieces from the middle of the film. Make sure you watch part 3 also, as it shows the enormous destructive power this H-Bomb and what it would do if uses on a city. This film really shows how silly it is to talk about a "winnable Atomic War."
This film is in the Public Domain and is available for download at the Internet Archive at the link below, though it is currently the old version, not this one in which I have fixed several problems, which that version still has. I fixed audio sync problems wherever it was noticeable and have boosted the sound levels. Also, I brightened and color corrected the film wherever I could. I hope to re-submit this version to the Internet Archive soon.
The film is in 4 parts now, this is the missing part 3 that I found a few weeks ago. (Part 2 of 3)
