I didn't mean any offense. And I was talking to jms61239 cuz he said "dave murray sounds nothing like that." You plaid the song very well, but yeah I guess that sounded best for the gear you had lol.

i am too working on this solo, not bad.
but hey change some of the tone on your amp or pedal. dave murrays guitar sounds nothing like that..

I know.. but its kind of hard to get his sound.. I need a Fender fat strat and super distortions =P
(for the tone) but hey.. I wasnt thinking about getting his tone hehe I have my own tone..

Covers aren't about trying to sound exactly like the original. Exact copies of songs can be boring, you should try to add your own flavor to it, not try to sound exactly like dave murray. But on that note, he does need to change the guitar or amp or tone or something, just for the shear sake of a good sound. This tone sounded like crap, though well plaid.

I know.. I didnt want to get dave murray's tone..
I used my guitar direct to the amp and miked the amp to the pc. It changes a lot the real tone of the amp.
You cant mess around with lots of tones if you have an squier strat and a 15 watt mg marshall..
