Maybe you are not a competent pianist? If so, then surely you must understand that one can memorize hours of pieces, as a person reciting lyrics. Basic muscle memory takes control over this.

Watched this awhile ago and the first thing noticed was just how fine is that Orchestra in Xiamen. And they invited George Li to play Haydn as if it was a natural thing to do in the world... (stunning, I thought)!

Dear BarNuun, George's then piano teacher Mr. Yin Chengzong organized a music festival there. So George was an invited pianist for the festival.
