Mad Season was a grunge supergroup formed in late 1994 by members of three popular Seattle based bands: Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees. Mad Season only released one album, "Above".

I read a review about this album online and the author said that this album came across as a desperate attmept to save the grunge culture from obscurity. I couldnt believe my eyes. How can you call this borderline masterpeice of music desperate and suggest that its anything but genuine and from the heart.
