Mad Season was a grunge supergroup formed in late 1994 by members of three popular Seattle based bands: Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees. Mad Season only released one album, "Above".

Band members:

Barrett Martin - drums
Mike McCready - guitar
John Baker Saunders - bass
Layne Staley - vocals, guitar (1994--1997)

Additional members:

Mark Lanegan - vocals
Skerik - saxophone, percussion (1994--1995)

  • @ibdreamy Yep. Unfortunely Youtube blocked (in every part of the world) Part 2, because it has "Long Gone Day" (and also "I Don't Know Anything") wich is, I think, property on VEVO on youtube.

    Sorry 'bout that, I tried to unblock Part 2, but after few days youtube blocked it again.

  • I read a review about this album online and the author said that this album came across as a desperate attmept to save the grunge culture from obscurity. I couldnt believe my eyes. How can you call this borderline masterpeice of music desperate and suggest that its anything but genuine and from the heart.
