@dreamer72fem What city is it going to be in? I might be able to if it's in Memphis... maybe Nashville. Or Paducah, That's not too far. (is Kentucky considered part of the South?) I get out to Peoria, Illinois a couple times a year; I could go a bit farther.

My Geneva bible has oak boards. I would recommend that you sand the edges and corners of the boards pretty round before putting the leather on. You can use fairly coarse sandpaper, like 100, since it doesn't matter what the wood looks like in the end.
