This Carver Skateboard is SURFSKATING as it should be. Over 40 years ago the Z-boys first tried to duplicate Surfing's cutback. But they didn't have the Carver Skateboard. They had to rely too heavily on hand plants and power slides for extreme direction changes on cement while Street Surfing / Surfskateing. But surfboards don't slide. They CUTBACK. - (So do carver skateboards) And surfers don't hand plant. They burry their rail. - (So do Carver Skateboards). Carver Skateboards surfskate / streetsurf better than anything out there. The Carver Skateboard allows this and more.

  • @StreetFighter85 - Thank you. That is some solid advice. I will work on that for the next vid. I know what I am doing is technically not a cutback. I guess it's just carving. I simply didn't like the title "Carvers Carving." The thing is, even a sector nine can carve. What a sector-nine can't do is change direction on an embankment. Sector-nines can never get back around all the way as the Carver can. I wanted to highlight that distinction. I should have said real Surfskates don't powerslide.

  • btw I did not one single cut back in the whole video!?

  • Nice work. You got some crazy arms goin bad though bro. Try to always keep your thumbs down. If you look at pro surfers and skaters their thumbs are always pointing down. Crouch down bend your knees more, standing up too much tends to give people those crazy waving arms, if your palm is up you're way out of control. Personally I don't agree with the description at all here. I put my hand down both in the water and on the concrete waves.. nice vid

  • Too bad they come up with this now, I'm 32 and pretty much over the hill....dammit !

  • Dont you think this form of skating and pool riding (All forms of Z Boys skating) is so much better than what they do now days on halfpipes and skateparks

  • Where is this? By the way, I actually prefer setting my hand down. Seems to have a more pleasing aesthetic to it, an almost Larry bertleman quality to it. Like dt boys
