Warm wet hair should not be pulled on, it stretches and weakens the hair. Hair needs only to combed out w/wide tooth comb, apply product of choice, flip hair by putting head down, dry roots first, middle next, and ends last or not at all. The age of the hair "ends" renders them fragile. Apply a good "ends" treatment, the ends will receive enough heat during root and hair drying. Ideally, use hot air for roots, cooler to finish. Hot hair snaps/breaks, "cool" will "set" hair. Trust me. ZeldaZorch
