@Lawldudz "wow that sounds so strange yet cool" while another person would think "thats really weird I dont like that"
You hit upon exactly why you should not (and really CANNOT) place art/music into any sort of hierarchy. It's pointless because "taste" and "preference" are absolutely subjective and dependent upon the individual.

@katowarrior Agreed. It doesn't do much for readability either. I usually skip artsy, junk posts like that.

@Grunger19 That's a great way to describe it! I don't know why people have this innate and overpowering urge to compare and try to place things into a hierarchy of bad to good, better to best.

What is a corporate rock band?

This song is basically an encapsulation of the Toy Story saga. In the third, lotsos left in a brown meadow just like in the song. of course this song came out years before the first toy story, but nonetheless, its an interesting thing to think about.

you cant really compare soundgarden to nirvana, you cant compare any of the grunge bands. The great thing with grunge is as soon as it became a genre/big there were already diff forms of grunge. Nirvana the punk grunge/indie(indie like sonic youth pixies etc), Pearl Jam the classic rock grunge, Alice in Chains the dark spooky metal grunge, Soundgarden the pychedelic led zepp grunge, screaming trees the blues grunge, mudhoney the iggy pop grunge. I love em all differently

@lexiestu You look retarded when you capitalize every letter in your sentence.

''It really bums me out to think about all the material that never got released by Nirvana. They were one of my favorite bands evera band that felt like our little brothers and were simultaneously our peers and also an incredible influence on us. To think that there was all this unfinished work that can’t be shared and people will never hear, it’s just a shame. It really makes me want to do the right thing with Soundgarden.'' @Radz117 that, too, I'm afraid, is personal prefferance :P But there's no denying that BMF is very good, but some people prefer just prefer some albums over others
Nirvana is to Kool-Aid what Soundgarden is to a fine wine.
