Tim Donahue performing at a harp guitar master class, August 2011. After waiting 5 very long years, I finally had the greatest privilege of seeing Tim perform. This time, in the classroom setting, as well as a brief performance after the master class. I apologize for the standard recording quality. I literally traveled 4 hours from my home specifically to see him, purchased a standard camera late the night before, and didn't have the chance to learn the camera controls. I just feel very lucky to have been able to record this bit of his performance.
For those wondering what instrument he is playing, it is called a harp guitar. The model he used in this video is his newest signature production harp guitar; info available at http://www.timdonahue.com
Also, for further information, photos, videos and updates, feel free to check out Tim's Facebook page.
In my humble opinion, video recordings of Tim's music do not compare to the live experience. I literally sat in my front row seat, stunned and in awe. He is truly a master of innovation. His unabated, breathtaking performance left me wanting (almost begging for) more. No other music moves me to such a euphoric emotional state the way his does.
Thank you for viewing.
Disclaimer: This video is my own recording, posted with permission from Mr. Donahue.
@Tenrou2 Hello and thank you for your feedback. Yes, Tim has never stopped progressing with his music. He is constantly writing music and working on his harp guitars. He still does performances in Japan, some solo, some with Akira Yamazaki under the name ECLIPSE. Once in awhile he does some gigs with Nozomi Itani. Mr. Donahue has a Facebook page & an official website if you wish to see more updates. Thank you for viewing.
