In the market near my place in Hanoi, i saw a guy butchering meat frogs and asked him if i could film a little. So, first you cut their little heads off with scissors. Then you pull their skin off like a little jacket... why am i telling you? Just watch.

  • @GDQT In China, some people use to eat frogs, but now many provinces banned forg eating, because this not good for environment

  • atleast he cuts the head off first...

    im with him...

  • respect his work,he make living everyday his and his family life.

  • @willowsprite lol you live in Canada and you eat everything. that is impressive. yeah in Vietnam we also eat large intestine of pig, cow, that food is called "Phá lấu". you can search it in youtube. it's very delicious

  • @GDQT And my favorite story is when I worked for an employer who kept a pet python at the reception area. He loved to take it out of its tank and leave it on the top of the dividers in the office to "bask" in the florescent lights. My fellow female co-workers had to detour around it while I was fascinated by it. My employer probably overheard me commenting on the snake's size and wondering how many "dishes" that one snake could make. He never took it out during work hours again.

  • @GDQT oh! and to answer your question, I love eating frogs. I enjoy eating any type of food as long as it is prepared to my taste, take the pork large intestines for example. The only way I like them is when they are cut in long pieces and fried. But my absolute favorite way to eat any food is to eat in front of my squeamish co-workers who find the simplest of things stomach-churning. I've had someone ask me how I'm able to eat fish that's been cooked with the head on.

  • Ah... I see, I didn't look close enough. It kinda looked like the head was still there when the butcher was squeezing it to make the tongue come out. And of course I'd forgotten the frogs nervous system which causes then to move even when dead, so it seemed like the frogs were crawling around like normal. I should have realized they'd would have been trying to hop out to freedom if they were still alive.

  • @willowsprite If you look the video closer you can see that not the whole head of the frogs to be chopped which left a part of the tongues behind. the frogs are already dead before he remove their skin and tongue, so you can't say they more suffer. one more simple reason why frog' tongues not be sold as food because they tastes disgusting (just logical). No consumer hence no seller. I wonder in China you don't eat frog? it is so tasty.

  • @GDQT BTW if the tongue isn't used for anything else the why cut it before removing the head if it could be removed at the same time? Why add to the frog's suffering if that tongue isn't going to be used for anything?

  • @GDQT And I'm Chinese what's your point? I think asked a very legitimate question. If you can buy duck, ox, pig tongue off the market why shouldn't frog's tongue be sold as food too? I also think humans have degenerated from a species that used every part of an animal they killed to a wasteful and arrogant one. Name any other species on earth that throws away bits and parts thats perfectly edible just because they find it distasteful and adds waste that is harmful to those around them.
