The secret to this recipe is use enough peanut butter,the amount of ingredients i used for this recipe could feed 8-10 people. you can use less tripe and less ingredients to make just for one or two people. I usually cook family style meals, also you can also add different vegetables in the end. some people use peas and carrots and add a boiled egg on top. I am from quayaquil and this is how my mom and grandmother use to make it. everyone that has tried my tripe has become a fan. i am sharing my family recipes for you to enjoy..     hi i have a recipe for humitas, i will send it to you, as for ecuadorian bandera. that is basically 3 dishes in one.it represents some of our best dishes .. goat stew , tripe and ceviche all together served in the same dish. you can find the recipe for the tripe and the goat on my channel. i will upload my ceviche recipe soon.. .

    no lo que hice fue limpiar el mondongo con leche. yo dejo el mondongo en la leche por media hora..y despues lo lavo y sazono con sal, pimienta y comino..
