@DWNicolo They've been stepping out of Treks shadows in these shows. How many of these productions have straight men. Not in the early shows like Hidden Frontier Rob Caves liberal take on trek moved Roddenberrys out of the box, or should I say closet.

@FrontierGuard Tnak you for the personal reply, but if you could show that on screen, it would be wonderful, otherwise the show just kind of jumps from him adjusting from the 1950s to going to an academy.

Okay, so, is the Frontier Guard the military? Why are all the aliens humanoid and able to mate with humans? Who is the Chang Corporation? What's the Ark?
This was too short to be an episode, it was more like a 10 minute teaser.

Yes, the Frontier Guard is the military of the Frontier Alliance. The Chain Corporation is the main corporate entity that supplies the Guard. IE: Haliburton. The Ark in an ancient derelict spacecraft that is Saturn's Moon Iapetus. The Ark brought humanity's ancestors to our part of the galaxy. Because of the common ancestor, most races in the FG universe are able to interbreed.
