@snurgeress so you basically tie off your lures with a band and when the fish strikes the lure, just up the drag as if it were a skip bait or live bait - right??

i dont use circle hooks on lures but read once if the hook is offset it will spin make,s sence to me.

I tried it too, bloody magic is all I can say. The hard part is remembering to let the fish take off, then up the drag and there's your fish. Great for catch and release too as it always gets them in the scissors. Cheers man, with this system I almost feel fishing aint fair anymore lol.

Anal was my first thought too, but I had to give it a go. So simple and effective I'm using it on all my lures. I also like the fact you can change out hooks in seconds without breaking down the rig. First time I used it I never missed a hit. I have been using it now for 6 months or so, and my catch rate has soared. Anal works.

thanl you for the information!
Interesting concept, do you troll with just enough drag to stop the lure from running back and up to strike just after the bite?? Or just strike drag??

@jordythebassist Whatever you do don't strike, just tighten the drag after you let the fish run a bit, if you strike you will get nowhere. If you wanna troll flat use a rubber band and just hold on the clicker. Try it and let me know how you do, my mate in NZ had 22 striped marlin hits and landed 22 fish, not a bad day eh

@jordythebassist Exactly, just do not strike like you would with a J hook, circles are not designed to work that way, have fun mate.
