  • Thanks for sharing your adventures. I use a MSR Hubba as well. Its a terrific tent. Ive enjoyed being inside during an all-night rain, warm and dry.

  • What a clever and amusing Username you have there! Hehe! Oh Boy, do I get-it! Hehe! Oh, yeah, I used the REI Half Dome tent for a few years, and it set the "high-bar" for reliable, comfortable tenting, then I saw the "Hubba" on display, and it was love at first sight! Hehe! We've been very happpy together ever since! What an amazing Channel you have there! Are you a Professional Outdoorsman of some sort? -Brian.

  • Great videos.

I found these as I posted my experience from almost exactly one year before you at the Slate Creek site. I'll have to return. It's amazing how few people are out on this trail and site. I've soloed it twice and have never seen another camper at the campsite. That's both very wonderful and unsettling all at once.

    Anyway, thanks for posting!

  • Hi Chris!

Gosh, I just watched your campout video at Portola Redwoods Park, and your Writing, Production, Sound Effects, Music, Special Effects, etc. were Amazing! My little effort is a joke compared to yours! Wow! You certainly set the High-Bar for Production Skills! Regarding fear while camping-It's universal. And it comes and goes. I've had those all-night and not a wink of sleep Campouts too, and conversely, I've had perfect peace and calm too. I can't explain it. Cheers, Brian.

  • hehe you talking about tents reminds me of the time i went to a place called kelling eath (soz about spelling :P) with my dad on a motor bike and it was raining from the start of the jurny to the end and it wat from the north east of england to the north east of nowich lol and even thow it was allways raining i enjoyed the fact that there were lots of motor bikes :P once again i hope you are well and i cant wait to see the rest of the set of vids :)

  • Ha. Well, I definitely enjoy playing around with imovies. Learning as I go. But, what I appreciate most about your videos is that you truly walk us through the experience and teach/encourage others to get out there. Awesome. Keep it up!

  • Hi Dracapalley. Always a pleasure when you drop in for a chat! Glad you liked the camping video! It was a bit rough and ready, since it was the hot Summer Season and had a lot of mosquitos. Not ideal, but I wanted to go camping so bad, I just did! I posted the others in the Series in case you haven't seen them yet. Today in the Physics Club at my Uni-the lads and I decided to go camping soon, so I would expect another video in a week or two. This time, with dozens of other oddballs too : )

  • Nice video Brian, I hope you will upload more in time to come. Best wishes x
