Hello Fair ladies and good sirs,

This is K.R.Columbus and As I Close my Eyes is an animated movie that mixes vector and shadow puppetry, live action and both technical and cg effects made with Anime Studio, Photo shop, Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effect. written and Directed by me and with music by the group -Broken Halo-.
I'll explain a bit of the story. The story follows a young man named Ryan that lays dying and is trapped between earth and the afterlife and he is being lured into the world of Avnysia by someone that he feels is calling him. Avnysia is the place between realities where lost and forgotten things go. There he meets a young man named Damian that is being chased by some humanoid crow creatures called crowlings; servants of a Valkyrie like woman named Aura that has been sent into Avnysia to make Damian travel beyond the veil of night before his soul is lost forever.
I started this project a few years ago and once principal photography of the live action backgrounds began we were hit by a hurricane and i ended up loosing my camera and now my computer is about to die on me [it is ten years old] So i postponed the movie until i can find a job or at least get a new camera and an used computer but the economy is so bad that i cant find a job anywhere. But I cant be afraid before a dragon, I have to attack head on. If you like the film and wish to help with donations or any sort of equipment donations [a digital camera you aren't using] I might be able to use in the project, I really need to get this movie done, is a very personal project that clearly has some sort of untamed magic that i cant explain. Anyone that helps will be credited in the final film as producers in both the opening and the credit roll.
The film will tour the film festival circuit and ultimately will be made available online and in other outlets.

PS- The film's live action backgrounds and bits where filmed in the rain forests of Las Marias, Puerto Rico. the island has the only Rain Forest in the US Dept. of Agriculture Forest Service.

@FatadeiFiori91 it took me around five months, but i could have done it in weeks if i were not so lazy....plus i have a writing career, check K.R.Columbus, truth it depends on how much you wanna do things, the program is easy when you come to learn its basics and you learn many ways to cut corners like animating body parts separately and stuff like that, sorry for the late reply. Any questions you have i can help.

No, i do recommend the program for creating raw animation for keying later on backgrounds and such in a better program....it is only good for animation, the rest is kinda raw.

Been working on this project for the past 10 years but actual Anime Studio work took around 5 months for 10 minutes, could have been more but had many set backs including a hurricane, theft and well total destruction of the camera. But you pretty much can do anything with the program as long as you know its limitations and work around them, like the candle scene, the arms aren't even part of the body each part of the body is a separate element and all of them are lit different..
