But yeah... crappy game is still crappy. And I've heard you can only win the game by decapitating Death, so you've been lucky to finally cut his head off. :P

Yeah it's true, the only way you can kill him is to cut his head off. Just press all five attacking buttons when they are dazed and something will happen.
