In order to compete at the NHL level you must be trained by excellent coaches as well as state of the art equipment. Legs must be developed in order participate on the ice while stickhandling and checking at lighting speed. If you bring your child to the Hockey Loft you will be giving him/her a powerful advantage over other kids. I have nothing to do with the Hockey Loft but as an ex old school coach I can see how much better these kids are trained then in my day..I have always believed that without your wheels(legs) you will not make it..Proper fitting helmets are also important..if you tell your child they are going to get to the highest level make sure you follow up and not give up when the going gets tough...also politics are involved when coaches choose players in the higher leagues..so bear down and dont get discouraged..its not a game its a business...Team Canada at the olympic games had players that started with early training.

  • shooting is only one of the many skills you need to make it far. Your kid can be amazing at this age but as soon at checking and a faster game play come in you'll see kids drop off the table.
