YUP, IT AIN'T TOO SHORT-SIGHTED TO THINK THE AMERICANS THAT JUST DEFEATED THE NAZI WAR MACHINE AND JAPANESE EMPIRE WEREN'T DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR "MANKIND" BY TAKING MOSSADEGH OFF THE BOARD.

Why were the Soviets, Nazis, and Imperial Japan bad? Because, among other things, they didn't allow free elections and meddled in other countries' internal affairs. By deposing Mossadegh, who was freely elected, the US became no beter than its enemies.
